The library tote is done! The pattern is by Fiona Dalton from the Crafter’s Companion book, and is very well written and easy to follow. I love how it turns out, and have been carrying it with me on my walks with Annette, whether it’s to the library or not.

gorgeous Claudine. I just got some fabric from superbuzzy which would look divine for the pocket. I will have to bring it when we next meet. You should send a link to Fiona, I sure she would be thrilled to see her design made by someone. Better still I’m only to send her an email now!!!Because I know your too modest to do it yourself. 🙂
Oh that bag is so cute. Where did you find your Hello Kitty fabric from. I can never seem to find any here in Melbourne, so any hints would be great.
Very cute Claudine. :o) Library books never looked so fine.
I love linear fabrics contrasted against bold prints. You have great taste Claudine. x
Cute bag Claudine. I still can’t believe you have only just learnt to sew your work is so good.
A library tote is a wonderful thing to have. Yours looks great!
The fabric choice is gorgeous. I have the CC book too, but yours is the first project I have seen made up. I’m inspired to make one now.
I love the cowboy hello kitty fabric. Very cute.
Thanks so much for posting your lovely photos of this project! It’s the first time I’ve seen it made up, too! I love your choice of fabric. Thanks again! 🙂
