Lavender from a shrub next to the front door of my building. The scent is heavenly whenever a breeze passes by!

And the other day I got hold of this book from my local library. It's a quirky and perhaps kitschy kind of book, full of patterns for knitted cottages and gardens like these…

    Ah, that book is pretty neat. I saw it once at the used book store and passed it up (gasp!) because I thought "I'd never knit that." I should have bought it just for inspiration.

    I can just smell the lavendar!!

    Love the Garden Bed! I have a similar book, but it's a knitted farmyard. One day I will make it. When I am very old!
